Job description

FOX26 and Fresno's CW are seeking a dynamic, engaging Parttime Temporary Show Host to join our onair team. We're looking for a confident communicator who can connect with audiences, deliver compelling content, and represent our brand with energy and authenticity.

What You'll Do

  • Host and cohost live and prerecorded segments across lifestyle, community, and promotional programming
  • Conduct interviews with guests, clients, and community partners
  • Collaborate with producers and sales teams to execute sponsored content and integrations
  • Deliver content that is informative, entertaining, and aligned with the station's voice
  • Participate in station events, promotions, and community initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Strong oncamera presence and communication skills
  • Ability to adlib and think quickly in a live environment
  • Experience in hosting, broadcasting, or digital content creation preferred
  • Professional, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule
  • A team player who thrives in a fastpaced environment

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with branded content or client integrations
  • Social media fluency and the ability to extend your onair presence digitally
  • Knowledge of the Fresno market and community

Schedule & Details

  • Parttime, temporary, nonexempt position
  • Assignment duration not to exceed one year
  • Hours vary based on production needs
  • Highvisibility role with potential for future onair opportunities

Compensation

This role offers $100 per booked segment. This is a nonexempt, temporary position compensated on a persegment basis.

Final compensation will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

Please note: This temporary parttime role is not eligible for fulltime employee benefits. Fulltime positions at Sinclair include benefits such as retirement plan participation, life and disability insurance, health/dental/vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, paid leave, parental leave, and the employee stock purchase plan.
