Job description

LaSalle Network is hiring for a Senior Manager, External Reporting with an industry leading home, security, and digital products client.
This is a highly visible, corporate accounting role supporting a public company environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning SEC filing preparation, supporting technical accounting initiatives, and working cross-functionally with various business units. This role is pivotal in strengthening the technical accounting focus within the team, which currently emphasizes SEC reporting. The team values hands-on, confident communicators who can influence stakeholders and build relationships across functions.
Responsibilities:
  • Own SEC filing preparation for 10-Ks and 10-Qs.
  • Support technical accounting initiatives and work through complex accounting issues.
  • Collaborate with business units and review disclosures.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Assist in acquisition accounting and related reporting cycles.
  • Review and prepare disclosures for filings.
  • Provide technical accounting support for various business questions.
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of financial reports and disclosures.

Qualifications:
  • B.A./B.S. in Accounting
  • CPA certification
  • 7+ years of experience preparing SEC filings such as 10-Ks and 10-Qs.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Strong technical accounting background, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP (nice to have).
  • Ability to communicate confidently and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-visibility corporate environment.
