Position Details

• Temporary/Seasonal, non-exempt

• 40 hours per week

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm

• Pay: $21.30/hour

About the Role

Eighth Generation, the nation’s leading Native-owned art and lifestyle brand, is seeking a reliable, self-motivated Seasonal Warehouse Associate to join our Georgetown, Seattle warehouse team through the holiday season. This role supports our Warehouse & Sourcing Manager in the storage, fulfillment, and distribution of Eighth Generation products. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and takes pride in organization, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship customer and wholesale orders

• Receive incoming shipments and prepare outgoing deliveries

• Perform quality control checks on merchandise

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

• Follow workplace safety procedures and protocols

• Support additional warehouse operations as neededQualifications

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to stand and move throughout an 8-hour shift

• Ability to regularly lift 25+ pounds and occasionally lift 50+ pounds

• Comfortable operating or learning to operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks (training provided)

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

• Ability to pass a background check

• Familiarity with Eighth Generation’s values and mission


Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify and/or Shippo

• Previous warehouse, retail, or fulfillment experience


Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse environment that involves frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Employees must be able to lift and move boxes and merchandise throughout the workday. Close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are necessary for quality-control and production tasks.


The warehouse environment can also be loud at times, including regular music playback and operational noise typical of a production and fulfillment space. Applicants should be comfortable working in an energetic, active environment.
