Traders in this field source scrap metal from various suppliers, such as construction sites or manufacturers, and sell it to recycling facilities or other buyers. The 'temporary' aspect refers to project-based or contract work, where traders operate for a set period rather than as permanent employees. This role requires knowledge of market prices, quality assessment, and logistics. It's a vital part of the recycling supply chain and helps promote environmental sustainability.

To excel as a Temporary Scrap Metal Trader, you need knowledge of commodity markets, negotiation skills, and an understanding of metals and their grades, often supported by relevant experience or vocational training. Familiarity with inventory management systems, pricing software, and industry regulations is also important. These skills ensure profitable transactions, regulatory compliance, and efficient trading in a dynamic industry.
