Job description

Middle School Science Teacher - Maternity Leave 

Employment Type: Temporary/Maternity Leave Replacement 

Grade Level: Middle School - 6th Grade 

Start Date: December 2026 

Anticipated End Date: February 2027 


Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Valid Indiana teaching license with an appropriate Middle School Science or applicable science content area, or eligibility to obtain appropriate Indiana 

licensure.

Knowledge of effective middle school instructional and classroom management practices.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to establish positive relationships with middle school students

Commitment to collaboration and student achievement

Teaching experience at the middle school level is preferred but not required.
