Job description

Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking an Outside Sales Development Representative to work for one of our top delivery global tech clients!

Pay: $27-$29/hr. depending on experience plus MONTHLY UNCAPPED COMMISSION PAY for Meeting and Exceeding Goals!

Location: Dubuque, IA (must be within 60 minutes of location) 

Daily Travel: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel regularly within assigned territory (travel reimbursement will be provided)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Outside Sales Development to join our client's Sales team. In this field-based sales role, you will be responsible for driving new business acquisition across assigned territories and supporting the overall growth strategy of restaurant delivery service.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Travel throughout assigned emerging market territories to identify and secure new restaurant partnerships 
    • Sell the value of partnering with delivery service to restaurant owners and negotiate revenue share agreements 
    • Manage a high-volume, fast-moving sales cycle and close new business within days 
    • Collaborate closely with a Regional Sales Manager and utilize provided sales tools including sales sheets, business cards, gift cards, and market resources 
    • Maintain consistent field activity, primarily conducting face-to-face meetings with prospective partners 
    • Support company expansion into rural and underserved markets across the territory 
    • Ensure compliance with travel and reporting expectations throughout assigned regions

Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of successful sales experience in a closing role or related field 
    • Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses, preferably restaurants or food and beverage clients 
    • Strong ability to travel at least 50 percent of the time for in-person sales meetings 
    • Proven success in inside and outside sales strategies to meet and exceed targets 
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build scalable sales approaches and playbooks 
    • Comfortable working in a transactional, high-velocity sales environment 
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
