DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners Or Physician's Assistant to support FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) to provide vital medical support and assistance during emergencies and disaster response efforts.

We are looking for Nurse Practitioners Or Physician's Assistant to provide services at Saipan FEMA disaster site on full time temporary assignments. Services will be provided 7 days per week at 8-10 hour shifts. You will play a crucial role in delivering quality healthcare services to FEMA personnel that are performing critical services in areas affected by natural disasters, public health crises, and other emergencies.



Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to FEMA personnel.
  • Prescribe and administer medications.
  • Assess and prioritize medical needs of patients, ensuring timely and appropriate treatment.
  • Monitor patient conditions, document observations, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and emergency response teams to coordinate patient care and services.
  • Educate individuals and communities on health and safety measures during disaster situations.
  • Assist in setting up and managing clinical sites in disaster-affected areas.
  • Completion of a master’s degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
  • Minimum BLS/CPR, national certification by a professional body accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies and the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification. BLS (Basic Life). This position may be required to be ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support in austere conditions
  • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience as a NP.
  • Must hold an unrestricted license in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States.
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work hours.
  • Capacity to handle high-stress situations and work effectively in challenging and austere environments.
  • Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude.
