Registered Nurse - Infusion Center

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 4x10 Days (07:00 - 17:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with strong oncology and infusion experience to join our Infusion Center. The nurse will be responsible for administering chemotherapy, electrolytes, and blood products to patients with cancer. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment connected to an oncology urgent care.

Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy, electrolytes, and blood products.
  • Monitor patient responses and manage side effects of chemotherapy.
  • Provide care coordination and patient/family education.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams and social services.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Active RN license in the state of Maryland or Compact license.
  • BLS certification.
  • Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC).
  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in oncology and infusion.
  • Previous charge experience preferred.
