HIRING FULL TIME RN FOR VENTURA COUNTY TERRITORY
12pm-8:30pm OR 11:30am-7:30pm hours schedule 
Spanish speaking highly preferred.   Must be computer proficient and must be comfortable driving to patient homes

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced registered nurse who initiates and coordinates the hospice care plan, supervises CHHAs and LVNs and provides skilled nursing hospice and palliative care services provided to our patients. The RN will work cooperatively with the attending physician, Hospice Medical Director, and other members of the interdisciplinary Hospice team. The RN regularly reviews and updates the plan of care, performs prescribed medical treatments (including pain management and symptom control), conducts assessments and evaluations and provides education and supportive care to patient and caregivers. Must be able to utilize computers and be comfortable with EMR.


 QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN License within the State.  BSN preferred. Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing desired and encouraged.
  • Minimum of one-year experience as a professional nurse within the last 3 years or have a Baccalaureate in Nursing from a program accredited by the National League for Nursing.
  • Valid driver's license, and auto insurance, reliable/well maintained transportation.
