Job Description

The Medical PCU is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. This unit, with a total of 12 beds, cares for a diverse patient population, requiring skilled nursing interventions and compassionate care. Our team values teamwork and a positive attitude to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes as needed.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality patient outcomes.
  • Assist with diagnostic tests and patient education.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Current RN license in the state of Texas.
  • Experience in PCU or critical care settings preferred.
  • Travel RN experience is highly regarded.
