Registered Nurse (RN) - Atrium Health Cleveland - Maternity

Where You Will Work:

The Labor and Delivery Unit at Atrium Health Cleveland has 8 labor rooms, 3 triage rooms, 1 OR suite and 1 PACU bed, while the Mother Baby Unit has 19 rooms for couplet care, antepartum, GYN surgery, pediatrics and 5 Special Care Nursery beds for newborns that need a higher level of care. We serve our patient population alongside a highly skilled team of physicians, midwives, pediatric hospitalists and anesthesiologists. Our exceptional group of teammates "bring it home" for our patients daily. We offer specific training to assist our new graduate nurses and certification courses to enhance the experience of experienced team members. The ideal candidate for our team is caring, compassionate, flexible, and has strong critical thinking and assessment skills.

We're Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • One year of nursing experience is strongly preferred.
  • NRP recommended within 6 months of hire.
  • Fetal monitoring class required every 2 years.

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
