Job description

1. Education: Current RN licensure for the state of AR.
2. Training and Experience: OR PREOP PACU experience preferred, CPR certified. Other recommended certifications: ACLS & PALS, CNOR, CPAN
3. Job Knowledge: Presents a professional appearance & exemplifies hospital standards of honesty and ethical behavior. Accurate assessment skills combined with the ability to quickly plan needed actions and implement those actions. Good communications skills required with peers, patients, physicians and hospital management. Must demonstrate willingness to be a team player.
4. Safety Sensitive: YES
In the interest of protecting the health and safety of all patients, associates, and guests, Unity Health has classified some positions as "safety sensitive." DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for completion of nursing assessment to identify individual needs and problems, supervise & direct patient care and personnel, assist anesthesia as needed, and ensure proper techniques & standards of care are maintained. Participates in OR call schedule as needed. Ability to work irregular hours.
Physical Effort: Standing for long periods of time, lifting 30 lbs., bending and moving of heavy equipment.
