Job Summary

The IV Registered Nurse (RN) administers intravenous (IV) vitamin infusions and intramuscular (IM) injections in a luxury medspa setting. The RN provides excellent client care and education, conducts health assessments, and ensures the safety and comfort of clients throughout their treatment. This role requires exceptional IV skills and the ability to work in a client-focused, wellness-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive health assessments, obtain medical history, and evaluate clients for appropriate IV therapy and injections.
• Ensure strict compliance with all medical protocols, standing orders, and health regulations under the guidance of the Medical Director.
• Prepare and compound IV drips and injections with precision and accuracy.
• Skillfully perform venipuncture for the placement of peripheral IVs and administer intramuscular injections.
• Monitor clients during and after their infusions, promptly addressing and documenting any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records (EMR) for all client visits and treatments.
• Educate clients on the benefits of different IV therapies and injections, helping them understand their wellness plans.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized work environment, including the supply and med rooms.
• Cultivate a welcoming, fun, and relaxing atmosphere, providing top-tier customer service and building relationships with clients.
• Engage with clients throughout their service journey, including tours, intake, treatment, and follow-up.
• Actively promote spa services and membership programs to clients.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of one year of experience in IV placement and venipuncture.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient education and communication with the medical team.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• A confident, friendly, and outgoing personality that aligns with a customer-service-driven environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
