Job Description – Office & Warehouse Administrator

PURPOSE OF POSITION AND REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Operations and warehouse team in Macon.

• This person must possess above-average written and oral communication skills.
• Basic skillset utilizing computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook are required.
• Must be able to multitask while efficiently prioritizing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods when required.

• Works in a supportive and collaborative manner with administration/management.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact professionally with other Hallway Plumbing employees.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact professionally with external contacts.
• Coordinates with all other employees in a manner that maximizes overall business effectiveness.

Physical Demands

• Lifts 50 pounds from the floor to waist level and can carry such objects for at least 50 feet.

Judgment & Decision Making

• Demonstrates good judgment and reasoning regarding the daily administration of all functions and activities associated with this position.
• Demonstrates good judgment in providing information and advice regarding top priorities and important issues.
• Demonstrates good judgment regarding escalating issues, which are beyond the scope and control of this position in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates good judgment in respecting the confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Seeking guidance and direction from appropriate members within the organization as may be required in the performance of responsibilities and duties.

Planning & Time Utilization

• Consistently demonstrates the ability to recognize and deal with priorities in a manner related to high-level administrative activities and duties.
• Uses available time during any workday in a wise and productive manner to maximize work efficiency.
• Spends reasonable additional time beyond normal working hours as may be required to meet project demands.
• Reads, responds, and takes action daily on all emails received.
