Role

  • Drive seamless interoperability between Guidewire systems and downstream applications, utilizing tools like Integration Gateway and XCenter.
  • Own the integration architecture standards by overseeing design and implementation of APIs (REST/SOAP), messaging, batch, and event-driven patterns.
  • Own monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root cause analysis (RCA) for production systems in a high-availability environment.
  • Ensure all integrations meet security fundamentals (AuthN/AuthZ) and SOX compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to shift toward cloud-native and API-first architectures (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
  • Manage relationships and performance for third-party integration tooling and contractors.

Qualifications

We are looking for a "Player-Coach" who can mentor senior engineers and contribute to technical design while maintaining a strategic seat at the table with IT and business leadership. You will have at least seven or more years of progressive engineering & management experience in enterprise systems/integration development.

Required

  • Hands-on experience integrating Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
  • Three plus years of experience managing or leading technical teams.]
  • Deep knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, ETL, and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience supporting production systems in a regulated environment (SOX, Insurance, or Finance).

Preferred

  • Experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform and platforms like MuleSoft, Boomi, or Kafka.
  • Proficiency in Java, Gosu, Python, or SQL.
  • Strong background in Agile and modern DevOps (CI/CD) practices.

Details
