Job description

Mission Statement

Job Summary
The Gudjonsson lab focuses on basic and translational research into mechanisms of autoimmune and inflammatory skin diseases. Current research areas include cutaneous lupus, rare dermatological diseases, and mouse models of autoimmune disease, as well as multiple internal and interdisciplinary collaborations. Successful candidates for this temporary research position will become part of a network of invested dermatology, rheumatology, immunology, and computational biology collaborators participating in rich team science.
Responsibilities*
  • Responsibilities include designing and executing research experiments, including direct bench support. This role will also conduct data management duties including related analysis. This role will also be involved in manuscript preparation. All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications*
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Coursework or previous experience in microbiology, biochemistry, anatomy, pathology, molecular biology, and human genetics.

Modes of Work
This position will be 80% remote and 20% onsite. Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
