Our team delivers coordinated care across primary and specialty practices, fostering collaborative teamwork and access to leading clinical resources. At the Ophthalmic Imaging Center, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality diagnostic testing and direct patient care, utilizing advanced health systems and department standards to support both clinical and research initiatives.

Role Overview

As an Ophthalmic Imaging Technician, you will perform quality diagnostic testing and provide direct patient care under the direction of the Ophthalmic Imaging Center leader. You will also conduct research testing according to protocols, ensuring adherence to health system processes, procedures, and standards. Your work will directly support patient care and contribute to advancing ophthalmic research.

What You Will Do

  • Perform quality diagnostic testing and direct patient care following department processes and standards.
  • Conduct research testing according to established protocols.
  • Maintain research certifications for each study requiring ophthalmic imaging.
  • Reacquire lapsed research certifications within one month of expiration.
  • Support the Ophthalmic Imaging Center in delivering exceptional patient care and research outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Research certifications must be obtained and maintained for each research study that requires ophthalmic imaging.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College education preferred.
  • Actively working to acquire certification as an Optical Coherence Tomography - Certified (OCT-C) by the Ophthalmic Photographers' Society (OPS) preferred.
