Job description

General Position Summary & Responsibilities
Radius Recycling is seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials experience to join the Financial Enterprise team. This position will serve as the liaison between business users, managers, and IT and will provide day-to-day production support for Oracle EBS financial applications and related business processes.
This role is well suited for a hands-on business systems analyst who can assess issues, partner with business and technical teams, and help resolve system and data questions in a live financial systems environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting ERP financial systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to ramp quickly while working collaboratively with stakeholders.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000 annually

Essential Functions
Successful candidate in this role will be responsible for the following functions:
  • Supporting users by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Oracle EBS financial applications and related systems, collaborating with end-users, Help Desk, technical teams, and external support providers
  • Providing proactive and reactive support during financial close cycles, including month-end close activities as needed
  • Creating and maintaining process documentation and knowledge base materials
  • Developing functional requirements and specification documents based on business needs or system issues
  • Building test scenarios and test cases; coordinating and executing functional and regression testing for issue resolution and system enhancements
  • Monitoring and supporting system interfaces to help ensure data integrity and timely issue resolution across systems and teams
  • Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency; documenting process flows and working with technical teams to deliver solutions
  • Assisting with system configuration, testing, and implementation of new or enhanced Oracle functionality
  • Utilizing basic SQL queries to research and resolve issues and support ad hoc data requests
  • Creating and maintaining BI reports or supporting reporting needs for business users
  • Performing other related tasks as assigned

Internal Control Responsibilities
Supports Internal Control process which includes understanding, communicating, and complying with defined internal controls as well as suggesting and making modifications to the policies, procedures, and controls to better match the business.
Communicates upward problems in operations, noncompliance with the code of conduct, or other policy violations or illegal actions.
Interpersonal Contacts
Works closely with Finance, Accounting, IT teams, external vendors, and cross-functional business stakeholders.
Job Conditions
This role operates in a fast-paced production support environment with heightened activity during financial close cycles. Occasional after-hours or weekend support may be required during critical periods.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Financials, or comparable ERP financial systems in a production or business support environment
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and systems, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Experience supporting ERP issue resolution, data analysis, testing, documentation, and business user support
  • Ability to troubleshoot system and data issues, identify root causes, and partner with business and technical teams to resolve issues
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong partnerships with business users and technical teams
  • Basic SQL knowledge and experience supporting data analysis and issue resolution
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Oracle BI, or other reporting tools preferred
  • Exposure to change management processes and SOX/internal controls preferred
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to 3-6+ hours per day; be mobile within an office environment; exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or minimal amounts frequently; keyboard for several hours per day; communicate by phone, in person, and in writing in a professional manner. The individual must possess visual acuity to perform close detail work for operating a computer and examining spreadsheets.
