• Conduct thorough client assessments to identify mental health and substance use issues, and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs.
• Facilitate individual or group therapy sessions that focus on coping strategies, managing behavioral changes, and improving clients’ self-esteem.
• Provide crisis intervention and diversion strategies to effectively manage acute situations, ensuring client safety while providing immediate support.
• Coordinate referrals to psychiatrists, advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), or substance use disorder (SUD) specialists as necessary for further evaluation and care.
• Maintain and update comprehensive records for each client, analyzing data to refine treatment methods and track progress.
• Collaboratively engage with clients' family members when appropriate to monitor treatment efficacy and encourage a supportive network.

In this role, you will work with a varied clientele that includes individuals struggling with mental health challenges, those dealing with intellectual disabilities, and clients navigating substance use disorders. By employing a client-centered approach, your goal will be to foster resilience and promote overall wellness. You will engage with clients in their healing journeys, providing tailored guidance to overcome personal obstacles such as low self-esteem, family dynamics, addiction, and suicidal ideation.

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Current and valid licensure as either a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third-party credentialing service.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

While not mandatory, experience in providing telehealth services or working with diverse populations within the mental health field is advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth software is highly beneficial as you will engage with clients using these technologies.

Helping Hand Healthcare Services, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with your caseload and professional experience.
