• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ needs, strengths, and areas for improvement, leading to the development of personalized therapy plans.
• Provide individual therapy sessions, along with couples and family therapy, ensuring the treatment approaches remain client-centered and culturally sensitive.
• Facilitate discussions that empower clients to set, pursue, and achieve their therapeutic goals, adapting strategies as necessary based on client progress.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops, and staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices to enhance your therapeutic skills.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, who may be facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Your ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds will be essential as you adapt therapeutic approaches that are tailored to their unique situations and cultural contexts.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling or a related mental health field is required.
• Possession of a current Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in Vermont is essential.
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations and various therapeutic modalities is crucial.
• A solid understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a commitment to implementing them in practice.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective client interaction and documentation.
• The capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a professional team is necessary for success in this role.

• At least two years of experience in clinical mental health counseling, with a demonstrated ability to create effective treatment plans and achieve client outcomes.
• Experience providing telehealth services is a plus, along with familiarity with digital health platforms.
• Proficiency in using therapy-related software and electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client data effectively.
