Locums Interventional Radiology Chattanooga, TN (TN License or IMLC) Why This Role

  • Long-term IR coverage through early 2027
  • Diagnostic reading not required (100% IR candidates welcome)
  • Established hospital-based IR practice with dedicated support staff
  • Flexible block scheduling with weekday and weekend call
    • Assignment Details
  • Start Date: ASAP (Coverage needed September 2026 ÄìJanuary 2027)
  • Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
  • Setting: Hospital-Based Interventional Radiology
  • Schedule:
    • - Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM - Weeknight Call: 4:00 PM-8:00 AM - Weekend/Holiday Call: 24-hour call (8:00 AM-8:00 AM)
  • EMR/PACS: Merge, PowerScribe 360, Dragon
  • Credentialing: Emergency/Temporary Privileges Available

  • 100% Interventional Radiology practice
  • Diagnostic reads optional based on provider preference
  • Broad IR case mix including:
    • - Angiography and angioplasty - Arterial and venous stenting - Atherectomy - Embolization and chemoembolization - Thrombectomy and thrombolysis - TIPS - Central venous and dialysis access - Ports and vascular access - Image-guided biopsies and drain placements - Nephrostomy and biliary interventions - Gastrostomy/GJ tube placement - Tumor ablation - Kyphoplasty and vertebral augmentation - Thoracentesis and paracentesis - Lumbar punctures and pain procedures - Uterine artery embolization
  • Dedicated IR support staff
    • Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Radiologist
  • Active Tennessee license or IMLC
  • DEA
  • BLS & ACLS (required for moderate sedation)
  • Available to begin in September and provide ongoing coverage through year-end
  • Clean malpractice history preferred
