Job Title: R&D Lab Technician
Job Description

The R&D Laboratory Technician will carry out essential laboratory testing to support research and development efforts related to manufacturing operations, formulation, product development and innovation, environmental social governance initiatives, and material testing. The technician may also assist in plant trials to support assigned projects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory tests to support research and development initiatives.
  • Assist in plant trials for various projects.
  • Support formulation and product development efforts.
  • Contribute to environmental social governance initiatives.
  • Perform material testing.
Essential Skills
  • 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory environment.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment, such as viscometers, Instrons, durometers, and lab mills.
  • Basic understanding of polymer materials, compounds, chemistry, and science.
  • Experience in R&D engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working with polymers.
  • Experience with physical lab tests.
Work Environment

The R&D Lab Technician will work primarily in a laboratory setting, utilizing a variety of laboratory equipment to conduct tests and support research and development projects. The role may involve assisting with plant trials to support ongoing projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
