Temp-Hire.
Job Description:
  • Responsible for performing receiving inspection, inprocess inspection, and final inspection activities and documenting the results; gage R&R studies, training and maintaining records as required. Responsible for creating capability studies, FAI, ISIR type documents; customer return evaluations, process and continuous improvement activities.
  • Responsible for DCC CMM programming to create and maintain programs for inspector/operator use. Creation of fixturing needed for the CMM operation. Also, trains operators in the set up, and use of the available programs to inspect parts.
  • Responsible for identifying and ordering measurement and inspection equipment, backup to the calibration Quality Technician, and associated recordkeeping.
  • Performs Capability Studies and Inspection Layouts as needed to support Customers, Engineering, and Quality activities. Ability to evaluate capability studies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:
  • Must have knowledge of specific measuring and optical equipment; electrical measurements; familiar with computer usage; and ISO9001 Business Management Systems.
  • Responsible for DCC CMM programming, fixturing and setup.
  • GD&T Knowledge, blue print reading, SPC knowledge
  • Training others on basic DCC CMM operation
  • Capability studies, first piece inspection, Gage R&R,
  • Perform mechanical and electrical inspections of products and purchased parts that are at incoming, inprocess, final or returned from customers.
  • Self motivated, organized, mechanical minded, ability to take direction, manage multiple tasks at once, and good communication skills.
