Job description

Our client, a leader in manufacturing, is seeking several Machine Operators to join their team.  As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting quilting operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operators

Location: West Coxsackie, NY

Pay Range: $23.00/hr + Overtime

Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday
 

What's the Job?

  • Operate various industrial machines in a continuous flow manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to production and quality standards.
  • Identify process disruptions or malfunctions and make minor adjustments according to standard operating procedures and protocols.
  • Perform routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance on quilting equipment.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures defined by the company safety program and OSHA regulations to eliminate work-related injuries.
  • Monitor the production process using meters, gauges, and related controls to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.

What's Needed?

  • Must be at least 18 years or older.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Entry-level with 1-2 years of machine operating experience in any field
  • Ability to perform physical demands such as standing, bending, lifting, and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
