The Process Engineer is responsible for leading site based process engineering projects and activities that drive continuous improvement, resolve chronic manufacturing issues, introduce new products or re-site existing products. - Lead and/or participate in capacity optimization and waste reduction projects.
- Lead new product introduction scale-up projects from our Research & Innovation team including handoff and training to the operations team.
- Lead new equipment process start-up and commissioning projects. In addition to being a key contributor to capital project execution to provide process expertise for equipment design and fabrication.
- Support operations to resolve chronic process problems and provide robust process solutions.
- Promote an observable culture of process safety, quality, and customer service within their organizational control.
- Support the short term tactical requests from the site-based team while managing the long term strategic projects set forth by the global process engineering team.

You will bring:
- Bachelors of Science (Engineering Preferred)
- 5+ years' experience in quality/manufacturing/process engineering
- Previous experience in quality/process engineering function in manufacturing environment.
- Continuous improvement background with demonstrated experience in problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Preferably has experience in composite material / adhesive material manufacturing or other similar continuous web process industries (paper, film, foil, or textile industries).
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred)
- General chemistry background is a plus
