Registered Nurse - Quality Assurance, Home Health And Hospice Services

KeystoneCare is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Registered Nurse - Quality Assurance, Home Health and Hospice services. In this role, you will play a critical part in leading our quality assurance initiatives, developing educational programs, and enhancing the skills of our nursing staff to ensure that we provide the highest standards of patient care.

Your primary responsibilities will include creating, implementing, and maintaining educational curricula focused on both home health and hospice care protocols, ensuring that all nurses stay abreast of the latest practices and regulatory requirements. You will also oversee the quality assurance processes, evaluating performance and care outcomes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance patient care.

In addition to education and quality assurance, this position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement, adherence to agency policies, and compliance with governmental regulations.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver educational programs for nursing staff in home health and hospice care, focusing on best practices and compliance.
  • Implement and oversee quality assurance measures, conducting audits and performance reviews to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Evaluate and analyze data to identify trends and areas needing improvement.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and policies.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff, fostering professional development and skills enhancement.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights regarding education and quality management.
  • Stay current with industry trends, and changes in healthcare regulations and quality assurance practices.
  • Facilitate orientation and ongoing training sessions for new hires.
