Requirements
What You'll Do
The Maintenance Supervisor manages all aspects of property maintenance, appearance, and service operations while adhering to the established budget. This role combines hands-on repair work with team leadership, overseeing service requests, unit turns, preventative maintenance, and vendor relationships to ensure a safe, well-maintained community.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Train, supervise, and support the Maintenance team, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance, service response times, and productivity.
  • Complete and oversee service requests in a timely manner, ensuring quality work and resident satisfaction through follow-ups.
  • Conduct unit inspections for move-in readiness and manage turn planning, including supply ordering, vendor coordination, and budget management.
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and other building systems.
  • Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance program and keep the maintenance shop organized and compliant with safety and OSHA standards.

What You Bring
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in property maintenance, facilities, or related field required.
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in student-style turn and turn preparation process preferred.
  • EPA Certification preferred.
  • HVAC Certification strongly preferred.
  • CPO Certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and proof of insurance.
