Job Title: Commercial Property Maintenance Technician
Location: Alpharetta, GA
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Property Maintenance Technician to assist with the upkeep and functionality of our commercial buildings. This role requires in-office presence and involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting building system issues, and responding to repair needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general property maintenance while providing excellent service to tenants and property managers.
Key Responsibilities
Building Maintenance & Repairs:
• Conduct routine inspections of office spaces and common areas.
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as drywall repair, flooring fixes, door and lock repairs.
• Ensure restrooms, break rooms, and public areas are properly maintained.
HVAC, Electrical & Plumbing:
• Perform minor HVAC maintenance such as filter replacements and basic system diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues (e.g., outlets, lighting, circuit breakers).
• Address plumbing concerns, including leaks, clogged drains, and basic fixture repairs.
Preventative Maintenance:
• Implement a preventative maintenance schedule for building systems.
• Identify and report potential issues before they become major repairs.
• Maintain maintenance logs and safety compliance records.
Emergency Response & Tenant Support:
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests during scheduled workdays.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs.
• Ensure the property remains safe, operational, and compliant with building codes.
Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure maintenance work adheres to building codes and safety standards.
• Follow OSHA and company safety protocols for all tasks.
• Maintain knowledge of fire safety procedures and emergency systems.
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years of maintenance experience in commercial properties, office buildings, or retail spaces.
Technical Knowledge: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance skills.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.
Communication: Professional interaction with tenants, property managers, and vendors.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
Certifications (Preferred): HVAC certification, Electrical License, or OSHA safety training.
Driver's License: Valid license with reliable transportation.
