In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing manufacturing projects from inception to completion.  This position supports various divisions in several aspects of manufacturing projects and ensures project timelines are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This is an in-office, full-time permanent role.
 

Job Responsibilities:
    Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.
    Review and approve project documentation, and support internal processes for project setup, document control, and financial systems.
    Implement quality control measures to meet internal and client standards.
    Conduct inspections and audits to identify and resolve issues.
    Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, production) to meet project requirements and provide support throughout Pre-Production Planning Cycle.
    Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications.
    Liaise with customers and contractors to manage project documentation and updates.
    Attend daily project meetings and support schedule management.
    Prepare and present regular project status reports to management.
    Ensure all work is executed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
    Promote a culture of safety and quality across all project activities.
    Other duties as assigned
 

Who You Are:
    A Self-starter with exceptional Organizational, collaborative, and team-building skills
    2-4 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
    Proactive, able to work independently with familiarity with manufacturing processes.
    Technical knowledge of Modular Manufacturing is highly recommended.
    Formal education (i.e., courses, diploma, etc.) in Engineering Technology business administration, Construction Management/ Project Management is considered an asset.
    Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is highly recommended.
    Working knowledge of scheduling software (i.e., MS Project, Primavera P6) and scheduling methods and terminology are considered an asset.
    Proficient user of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is highly recommended.
    Experience with ProCore is considered an asset.
