Job Description RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Civil Project Engineer in Raleigh, NC. This is a full-time direct-hire Remote/Hybrid assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive package including benefits, vacation and holidays.

Overview of YOUR role as a Civil Project Engineer As an experienced Civil Project Engineer, you will work on site/civil engineering and land development projects. This person will actively participate in the growth of our client's firm. You will demonstrate technical excellence in engineering principles and practices, take projects from entitlements through to construction, and manage permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies.

This role requires strong land development experience and the ability to contribute to company marketing efforts and client relationship building. As a Civil Project Engineer YOU will: Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate technical excellence in engineering principles and practices Possess expertise in designing potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, roadway design, and related land development projects Project Lifecycle Management: Take projects from entitlements through to construction, ensuring successful project execution Manage and coordinate various aspects of project development Permitting and Entitlements: Efficiently process multiple permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies Utilize local experience to streamline the permitting process Implement complex permitting strategies to meet project schedules, ranging from large-scale developments to compact commercial infills Client Relationship and Company Growth: Actively participate in company marketing efforts to enhance our client's profile and foster relationships with existing and future clients and governmental agencies Contribute to the growth of the company by delivering high-quality projects and client satisfaction YOU are the ideal Civil Project Engineer candidate if you have: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC/ABET Accredited University (required) PE (Professional Engineer) Licensure (required) or ability to obtain Land development experience (required) Experience designing potable water and wastewater distribution systems Experience with surface water management systems, site grading, and roadway design Knowledge of permitting processes across various governmental agencies Strong project management and coordination skills Client relationship and communication skills Ability to participate in marketing and business development efforts It's a BONUS if you have: Relevant work experience in North Carolina or the Raleigh area AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD experience Experience with large-scale developments and commercial infill projects Local governmental agency relationships About Our CLIENT Our client is a bold leader in the consulting, engineering, and construction services industry, delivering a broad range of creative solutions to clients in the real estate & land development, and energy markets.
