Temporary Retail Inventory Associate (3-Day Project)

Job Type: Temporary / Project-Based (3 Days)

Position Summary

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals for a 3-day retail inventory project. Inventory Associates will be responsible for accurately counting merchandise throughout the store using handheld scanning devices or manual count sheets. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy fast-paced work, can follow directions, and have strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Count and verify retail merchandise throughout the warehouse.
  • Use handheld scanners or inventory counting sheets to record quantities accurately.
  • Ensure inventory counts are completed according to company procedures.
  • Identify and report discrepancies or damaged merchandise.
  • Work efficiently to meet daily inventory goals.
  • Follow instructions from inventory supervisors and team leads.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area during the project.
  • Adhere to all safety and store policies.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail, warehouse, stocking, or inventory experience is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to count accurately and pay close attention to detail.
  • Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance for all three project days.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Schedule

  • Duration: 3-day temporary project
  • Hours: Full-day shifts (exact schedule will be provided prior to the project)
  • Attendance: Must be available to work all days.
