Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio company is actively recruiting for a temporary, Privacy Consultant for an onsite position for a corporate client in Nashville, TN.

Hours: Full-time (30-40 hours/week)

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6-12 months

Pay Rate: TBD based on directly related experience

Work Location: Nashville, TN - hybrid, onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Position Summary

This role supports day-to-day privacy operations with a strong emphasis on Data Subject Request (DSR) execution and OneTrust Privacy Rights Automation (PRA) administration. The position partners closely with privacy, technical, and customer-facing stakeholders to ensure privacy requests and compliance workflows are handled accurately, efficiently, and on time. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-moving environment, can juggle multiple priorities, and communicates clearly with both internal teams and external parties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with prompt and accurate fulfillment of Data Subject Requests by conducting searches and coordinating responses using OneTrust Privacy Rights Automation (PRA).
  • Maintain and enhance OneTrust PRA assets, including workflows, templates, intake webforms, reports, and operational dashboards.
  • Provide operational support for core privacy programs such as:
    • Records of Processing Activities (RoPA)
    • Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
    • Cookie Compliance
    • Privacy research and related documentation efforts
  • Refresh and maintain process documentation, playbooks, and standard operating procedures as workflows evolve.
  • Collaborate with engineering and other technical partners to increase automation and streamline repetitive privacy processes.
  • Support the team in managing and responding to privacy inquiries from customers, vendors, and clients, ensuring high-quality service and professional communication.
  • Deliver timely, accurate responses to internal and external questions related to privacy and data protection obligations.
  • Communicate directly with customers to address privacy concerns and provide updates as needed.
  • Monitor and triage inbound customer privacy emails; route issues appropriately and ensure follow-through.
  • Contribute to additional privacy initiatives and projects as they arise.
  • Keep privacy-related records current by updating findings across multiple enterprise SaaS systems to ensure data integrity and consistency.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience working in privacy, privacy operations, or a related compliance function.
  • Hands-on experience with OneTrust Privacy Rights Automation (PRA).
  • Flexibility to adjust work hours periodically to support calls outside standard business hours when necessary.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong resilience and composure; able to remain effective under pressure and persist through complex issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with demonstrated quality-control habits (e.g., proofreading, validation steps, peer checks).
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and effective at time management and prioritization.
  • Comfortable engaging with technical concepts; technical background or strong technical proficiency preferred.
