Responsibilities for the Project Lead - Facility Maintenance (Mobile) position are:

  • Perform various handyman tasks related to the alteration, repair, and maintenance of building elements, including floors, stairways, partitions, drywall repair, painting, ceilings, doors, windows, fixtures, and furniture.
  • Prepare and implement a budget based on accurate estimates.
  • Act as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors.
  • Review the scope of work requests that require bid proposals from clients.
  • Conduct cost analysis by estimating expected project costs.
  • -Coordinate, direct, monitor, and inspect activities involving subcontractors, suppliers, labor, and materials.
  • Assist the Project Manager in developing and refining the Project Schedule, ensuring that it is regularly updated and that the project meets various required deadlines.
  • Maintain positive relationships and communication with all project participants.
  • Respond to new Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Plan and review construction status with the Project Manager, covering aspects such as quality control procedures, safety and security practices, field office location and layout, temporary utilities, staging areas, equipment, and manpower.
  • Ensure a clean working environment is maintained throughout the construction period.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements for Project Lead - Facility Maintenance (Mobile) position:

  • Possess outstanding customer service skills and can-do attitude.
  • This position will mainly work 1st shift but will need occasional 2nd shift availability.
  • GED or equivalent with 3 to 7 years of commercial carpentry experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to use work order systems.
  • Must have the ability to complete required safety classes.
  • Personal hand tools a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License.
