Industrial Engineering Technician / QA - needed 2 open roles

Position Summary
The Industrial Engineering Technician/QA supports project execution by reviewing
designs, contractor submittals, fabrication drawings, and construction activities to ensure
compliance with project requirements and engineering intent.
This position blends technical engineering support with selective field verification and quality
assurance responsibilities.


Primary Responsibilities


Technical Review
Review structural plans, specifications, and design packages for constructability.
Review contractor submittals, steel fabrication drawings, reinforcing steel shop drawings,
calculations, and material certifications.
Evaluate Requests for Information and provide technical recommendations.
Assist in resolution of structural conflicts encountered during construction.
Review temporary support systems and erection sequencing plans.


Construction Support
Participate in design review meetings and construction coordination sessions.
Assist with schedule reviews related to fabrication and erection activities.
Support review of as-built documentation.


Quality Assurance
Conduct field inspections as required to verify compliance with approved drawings and
specifications.
Verify installation of structural steel, concrete reinforcement, anchors, embeds, and
miscellaneous metals.
Review concrete testing reports and welding inspection documentation.
Assist with punch list development and final acceptance activities.


Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Civil Engineering
Technology.
Minimum five years of experience supporting industrial, federal, manufacturing, or heavy
civil construction projects.
Experience reviewing structural submittals, fabrication drawings, and engineering
calculations.
Familiarity with AISC, ACI, AWS, and ICC standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
