Job description

SUMMARY Raw Operator/Roaster will feed Roaster with correct amounts of quality product according to customer requirements. The process entails the following, daily set up (Inventory, Lot # Validation), maintain 5s (clean and organize), changeovers (SSOP), Batch Making (mixing ingredients, per specifications), packing (labeling, form boxes, per specifications) HACCP forms, consumption of material and RAF reporting. Raw Operator/Roaster will communicate and document efficiency standards while reporting inefficiencies to supervisor PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Fill out material worksheets and validate the receipt of raw material for all material used to complete the finished product. • Train and instruct temporary employees. • Maintain cleanliness and operation of equipment, and keep work area clean and organized at all times. • Perform department shut down procedures. • Inform supervisor of any problems (equipment, material shortage, formula and employees) as they occur. • Have QA sign off on all product changeovers. • Turn work order packets into supervisor upon completion of the scheduled quantity. • Conduct scrap reporting according to procedures. • Fill out production report based on completes quantity information from line leader or packer. • Inform supervisor when propane tanks are low and need to be reordered. • Conduct daily inventory of oil holding tanks. • Collect temporary employee labor reports and give to supervisor. • Complete labor report. • Run efficiently and follow all procedures related to job responsibilities.
