This work includes conducting laboratory and microbiology analysis, and also conducting product and process tests. The work includes completion of test documentation and report writing. Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Knowledge of basic chemistry, microbiology and food science. Work with food ingredients and processing equipment. Write reports. Understand Standard Operating Procedures and follow them. Clean equipment. Physical Demands Lift 50# of food material. Operate in a standing mode for a number of hours. Wear personal protective equipment and non-slid shoes in order to clean equipment. Rigorously scrub equipment and utensils.
