Apprenticely is helpingย Acres hire a Business Development Intern in Fayetteville, AR.

As a Business Development Intern at Acres, you'll help identify and engage organizations that can benefit from our map-based land intelligence platform. Working alongside our commercial team, you'll research prospective customers, support outreach efforts, qualify opportunities, and help build the pipeline that drives Acres' continued growth.

This role is ideal for someone who is curious, analytical, and eager to learn how a high-growth technology company identifies new business opportunities. You'll gain hands-on experience with market research, customer discovery, CRM management, and enterprise business development while working directly with experienced professionals in a fast-paced startup environment.

You'll thrive at Acres if you enjoy solving problems, communicating with people, and taking ownership of meaningful work. Your research, organization, and initiative will directly contribute to helping organizations discover how Acres' land intelligence platform can solve complex business challenges.

Note: This position will begin as a full-time, 3-month paid internship at a fixed rate of $15 per hour. Successful interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities based on performance and business needs.

What You'll Do...
  • Research Prospective Customers: Identify organizations and key decision-makers who could benefit from Acres' land intelligence platform. Conduct account research to better understand customer needs, industries, and business challenges.
  • Support Business Development Efforts: Assist with outbound outreach through email, phone, and LinkedIn to introduce prospective customers to Acres and generate meaningful conversations.
  • Qualify New Opportunities: Help evaluate inbound and outbound leads by conducting initial discovery conversations and determining whether they're a strong fit for our solutions before handing them off to the Account Executive team.
  • Maintain CRM Accuracy: Keep customer and prospect information organized within HubSpot by documenting outreach, updating records, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Learn the Acres Platform: Develop a strong understanding of Acres' products, customers, and markets to confidently communicate our value and support customer conversations.
  • Collaborate Across the Commercial Team: Partner with Business Development Representatives, Account Executives, and Sales Leadership to support pipeline development and contribute to team initiatives.
  • Track Activity and Progress: Monitor outreach efforts, follow-ups, and pipeline activity while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and engagement.
  • Contribute to Team Success: Participate in training, team meetings, coaching sessions, and special projects while developing professional skills in communication, business development, and commercial strategy.

Details
$15 - $15 an hour

This is a paid internship with an hourly rate of $15.00 per hour. Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week.ย 

Actual earnings may vary based on hours worked and applicable payroll deductions.
