Job description

Overview:

Here at ACG, we are seeking to hire an experienced Concrete Repair Specialist for a temporary position. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across various areas of the construction industry, with a strong focus on concrete repair and restoration.**Candidate must be willing to undergo a pre-employment screening**


Primary responsibilities


  • Perform hands-on concrete restoration and repairs on stairwells.
  • Chip, remove, and prepare damaged concrete using hand and power tools
  • Clean and treat exposed reinforcing steel (rebar)
  • Complete patch repairs, forming, and pouring of concrete
  • Perform caulking, sealants, and waterproofing applications
  • Assist with surface preparation (grinding, pressure washing, and sandblasting)
  • Alerting staff on-site of any projects that temporarily affect mobility, access, or safety.
  • Work on ladders, scaffolding, and swing stages
  • Follow safety procedure and maintain clean and organized job sites
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and/or repair a plus.
  • Have a working knowledge of power tools
  • Must have general knowledge and skill in concrete


Requirements:


  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs.
  • Willing to undergo pre-employment screening such as: Background check record and Drug/Alcohol test.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Flexibility to travel when necessary
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day.


Available to work the following shifts: Day or Night

Pay Range: (Depending on level of experience)

Job Type: Temporary Worker
