Job description

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a MEDICAL SERVICES PROGRAM MANAGER (T32), PD# D3550000 and is part of the RI JFHQ Medical Detachment. Purpose is to plan, coordinate, direct, and implement the medical readiness administrative programs of the state and provide oversight/supervision for the other programs located in the Office of the State Surgeon.

Qualifications:

Military Grades: O-4 through O-6
You must indicate your rank somewhere on your resume.

Compatible Military Assignments: For Dual-Status Technician positions service affiliation under Title 32 USC 709 is required. Military skill set is determined by AFSC/MOS requirements. Upon selection, individuals must be assigned to a compatible military AFSC/MOS in accordance with statutes and National Guard Bureau regulations and must obtain/maintain all requirements of the AFSC/MOS.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level

Education:

Appropriate combination of education and experience: generally requires that an applicant possess a core of educational credit plus additional education and/or experience.
The quality of the combination of education and experience must be sufficient to demonstrate that the applicant possesses the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform work in the occupation, and is comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of a full 4-year course of study with a major in the appropriate field.
Other supporting documents, such as college transcript(s) if qualifying based on education, must be submitted in English. Failure to submit the required documentation will result in automatic disqualification.
You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your educational claims. To receive credit for education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the education requirements for this position.
