Job Description

Work in a clean, large manufacturing plant, safe environment. We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join production of extrusion pipe department in Salt Lake City. This entry-level position involves utilizing standard tools and measuring devices to ensure that the final product meets customer specifications.

Shifts

The role involves working a 12-hour shift with alternating schedules of 48 hours one week and 36 hours the next.

• Night Shift: 7pm - 7am; $21 per hour
• Day shift, 7am - 7pm, $20/hour

Responsibilities 

Perform lifting of products

Ensure the final product is wrapped neatly around the reel while maintaining quality checks.

Work in a manufacturing environment.

Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working space.

Essential Skills

Manufacturing and production experience.

Basic machine operating skills

Mechanical assembly and aptitude.

Able to work with hand tools and power tools.

Minimum of year of recent manufacturing experience.

Consistent work history within manufacturing/production.

Eagerness to learn and adapt.

Candidate must be able to submit to a pre-employment drug and bg check.

This is a Permanent position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $43680.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
