Peak Performance Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia. In this role, you will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients of various backgrounds and conditions in our specialized rehabilitation facility. Work Environment

Located in Chantilly, Virginia, our onsite rehabilitation facility fosters a collaborative and engaging atmosphere. Our typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, with rotating hospital shifts on weekends, ensuring that our team is always available to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical capabilities and therapeutic needs, setting appropriate goals and crafting individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement treatment programs that address the specific conditions of patients, while adhering to physician instructions and ensuring patient safety throughout the process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care, including evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Supervise and guide the work of Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel to ensure effective treatment delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and make necessary adjustments to improve patient care strategies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to create holistic care plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities, providing constructive feedback to support a culture of learning and improvement within the team.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including those with acute and chronic conditions affecting mobility and physical function. This includes individuals recovering from surgery, injury rehabilitation, sports-related issues, and those managing chronic pain. Your role is crucial in helping patients regain their physical capabilities and improve their overall quality of life through personalized care.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and word processing software.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical physical therapy setting is required to ensure you possess the skills necessary for this role.
