Job description

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to Outdoor Recreation (Outdoor Pool) on Holloman AFB, NM.
The incumbent will work days and evenings, Monday through Sunday.
This position is a Flexible position (0 Guaranteed Hours).
Military Spouse Preference is notlost if selected for this position.

The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is US Citizens and legal US residents within a 100-mile radius of Holloman AFB, New Mexico. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
  • Must have an approved and current nationally recognized certification in lifesaving and water rescue methods and skills, as well as basic first aid training, and CPR (both child and adult) training.
  • Experience which provides practical knowledge of swimming activities, rules and procedures and skill in the use and maintenance of various pool and safety equipment is desirable.
Education:Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
