Samford University is seeking qualified individuals to support various departments as assignments become available on campus. Positions vary in duties, work schedule and length of assignment. The Temporary Associate will assist with administrative duties and daily operations, providing crucial support where it is most needed. This flexible role is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic academic environment and are proficient at handling a variety of tasks. This is an opportunity to get to know a wide variety of people and positions on campus.

Job Duties
The specific tasks and responsibilities assigned to this role will vary depending on the department you are placed in, reflecting the diverse needs of our thriving academic community.   • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence to support departmental functions.
  • Provide front desk support, greeting and directing visitors, answering phone calls, and providing information about university services.
  • Assist with specific projects by collecting data, preparing reports, and maintaining records. The nature of project support can differ greatly between departments.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth operations and delivery of high-quality service to students, faculty, and staff.
