Securing a temporary PACU PRN (Post Anesthesia Care Unit as-needed) position typically requires relevant nursing licensure, such as a registered nurse (RN) license, and experience in perioperative or critical care. Competition can vary based on location and facility demand, but having certifications like ACLS and a flexible schedule can improve chances of employment. Employers often prioritize candidates with strong clinical skills and adaptability for PRN roles.
