Temporary Production Associate – Packaging & Palletizing
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Job Type: Temporary / OnCall
Schedule:

Hours: 9:00am-6:00pm

About the Employer-
Emerald Staffing is partnering with a certified food production facility in the Portland metro area. This facility follows strict food safety and quality standards and is seeking reliable temporary support to assist with monthly production needs.
Position Summary-
The Production Associate will support packaging and palletizing operations during shortterm production runs. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow food safety guidelines, and comfort working in a production environment. Ideal candidates are dependable, safetyminded, and able to work efficiently as part of a team.

Essential Job Duties-
  • Assist with packaging and palletizing finished products
  • Follow detailed food safety and quality standards at all times
  • Support production line operations as assigned
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work safely in a fastpaced production environment
  • Perform other duties as needed during production shifts

Requirements-
  • Ability to work on an oncall, temporary basis (2–3 days per month)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Comfortable working in a food production environment
  • Ability to follow strict safety, hygiene, and quality guidelines
Dress Code & Safety Requirements
This position is within a certified food production facility. The following requirements must be met while on shift:
  • No visible piercings or jewelry
  • No nail polish, artificial nails, or eyelash extensions
  • No perfume or cologne
  • Long pants and closetoed shoes required
  • Sweaters allowed; no hooded garments
