Job description

Perform duties related to picking, distribution, and unloading assigned inventories in the warehouse, departments, or offsite facilities. Responsible for supporting Materials Management's mission by providing accurate, time-efficient movement of products and supplies. Follows receiving/shipping policy and procedures to ensure accurate receipt of shipments.
Accountabilities:
  • Issues products: Prepares chargeable supplies for distribution
  • Accepts and fills supply requests via ERP system handhelds/ restocks disposable products, trays, and supplies as needed
  • Delivers supplies according to priority stock and non-stock products. Obtaining signatures when needed for loading dock deliveries
  • Verifies product expiration dates and rotates products to prevent outdating/checks package integrity and removes or replaces damaged or expired items
  • Put away warehouse inventory after received, verifies correct bin locations
  • Reports any inventory variances i.e.; partial quantities, short fills, wrong products.
  • Delivers/stocks product ensuring availability for staff to utilize for daily operations
  • Receives, load, unload, sort, prepare delivery, monitor materials/products/equipment for receiving, storage, shelving, distribution, etc. Verifies and maintains records on incoming and outgoing shipments to include shortages/overages and damages prepares reports as needed Counts and verifies items received or shipped against packing slips
  • Unpacks examines and routes incoming shipments/refuses damaged items and records shortages
  • Delivers products that are special order and not located in the par rooms
  • Prepares products to be shipped out from the facility thru our VPL system (Optifreight)
  • Provides internal tracking information to customers looking for packages
  • Works with customers and freight companies to ship freight items to other sites
  • Maintains organized, clean, safe and secure receiving area Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
  • The team member is accountable to demonstrate proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.

Submission Requirements
  • 1+ Years of Experience in Materials handling or inventory control - Required (preferably in a healthcare setting
  • 1+ Years of shipping / receiving experience - Required

Clinicians MUST list prior work history with North Memorial Health, Maple Grove Hospital, and/or Blaze Health LLC on their resume
