Role description:


Arcadis APM is seeking a Construction Operations Assistant to support with day-to-day field, logistics, administrative and communication support to the campus Construction Coordinators. This is a field resource role, helping ensure construction activities across the manufacturing campus. In addition, to maintaining good property communication, track, document and coordinating any activity. It will require interaction with contractors, project managers, facilities personnel, building occupants, and campus stakeholders at the client’s company.

Proven success working under pressure, staying proactive, organized, action oriented, willing to take ownership of responsibilities to help keep the campus construction projects moving forward and minimal operation disruption.

This is an in-person role, and candidates will need to live in the Tualatin area or within commuting distance.




Role accountabilities:

  • Filed Coordination & Construction Support. Conduct Site walks to oversee construction activities. Coordinate contractors access, deliveries, material staging and equipment movement. Identify field conflicts, congestion concerns, Unsafe conditions, and impacts.
  • Construction communication and notifications. Prepare and distribute construction notifications, outage notices, road closure alerts, and logistics updates. Prepare weekly project coordination reports. Track construction related actions and following until completion.
  • Site logistics and operations coordination. Maintain campus logistics drawings for construction zones, road closures, crane operations, laydown areas, contractor parking, pedestrian detours, and equipment delivery routes to the campus. Coordinate temporary facility work trailers and temporary storage areas. Assist with planning and shutdown events.
  • Utility shutdown and critical activity coordination. Update Utility outages, campus shutdown activities, maintain outage schedules, and impact tracking logs.
  • Reporting, tracking and administrative support. support meetings and maintain meeting documentation.
  • Contractor and stakeholder support. Assisting onboarding and coordination of contractor activities. Respond to company concerns, route issues to appropriate chain of command.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to everybody, while representing the clients company.
  • Other duties as assigned.




Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in construction coordination, facilities operations, project administration, or related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work both in an office environment and on active construction sites.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
