Entry-Level Low Voltage Technician
Launch Your Career in Telecommunications & Low Voltage Technology

Are you looking to break into a hands-on technical career with opportunities for growth? TEKsystems is hiring Entry-Level Low Voltage Technicians to support large-scale telecommunications and infrastructure projects throughout the Greater Fort Wayne area.

No extensive experience is required; we're looking for motivated individuals with strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in structured cabling, fiber optics, telecommunications, and data infrastructure while working alongside experienced technicians.


What You'll Do

As a Low Voltage Technician, you'll gain hands-on experience installing and supporting telecommunications infrastructure, including:

  • Pulling, routing, and securing low-voltage cable
  • Assisting with installation of structured cabling systems
  • Learning copper and fiber optic cabling fundamentals
  • Installing and terminating network cabling
  • Performing rack-and-stack activities in telecommunications rooms
  • Supporting cable testing and troubleshooting efforts
  • Assisting with equipment installation and maintenance
  • Following project drawings, specifications, and safety standards
  • Keeping job sites organized and professional
  • Working as part of a collaborative team to complete projects on schedule

Pay and Benefits
