Controlling this scope allows us to provide support, control, leverage, and value opportunities, while proactively addressing issues that could impact budget and schedule. 

Summary/objective: 

Seeking a Labor Foreman to join our growing team. This is a working Foreman role. This candidate will have the ability to provide complete supervision and responsibility for the job site field operations as directed by project Superintendents. Strong people management skills required to ensure project success, including time constraints to meet construction deadlines.

Scopes of work include, but not limited to:

  • General cleaning and housekeeping
  • Field office/trailer fit out
  • Temporary protection
  • Temporary containment
  • Trash out service
  • Select demolition
  • Safety railing and toe boards
  • Job-built stairs and ladders
  • Trash chutes
  • Signage installation
  • Traffic control and site logistics
  • Water mitigation
  • Winter tarping and temp enclosures
  • Snow and ice management
  • Temporary heat management and fueling
  • Emergency response 
  • Punchlist

Essential functions: 

  • Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members
  • Cultivate working relationship with project Superintendent
  • Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment 
  • Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment
  • Removing debris, garbage, and materials from sites
  • Assembling and breaking down barricades, temporary structures, and scaffolding
  • Assisting contractors, e.g. electricians and painters, as required
  • Following all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Construction work experience necessary
  • Reliable transportation
  • Report to work on time
  • Must be able to lift 50 Lbs
  • Willingness to undertake training if necessary
