Facilities Maintenance Technician | $23/hour | Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Job Description
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the facility, equipment, and building systems to ensure safe and efficient daily operations. This role includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing general building repairs, and supporting overall facility upkeep.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on facility equipment and building systems
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery
  • Complete machine changeovers and perform general machine maintenance, including oil changes
  • Perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building repairs
  • Paint, stain, and maintain interior and exterior facility surfaces as needed
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records in an organized manner
  • Assist with snow removal and apply salt to sidewalks and parking areas during inclement weather
  • Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repair
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout the shift
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
